Bio | Sophie is dedicated to integrating biology and fine arts. Growing up in the woodlands of Upstate NY, Sophie grew a passion for the outdoors and arts. Since highschool, she has made it her goal to pursue both the biological sciences and arts. Sophie graduated from SUNY Cortland in Spring 2025 with a B.S. in Conservation Biology and a minor in Studio Art. Sophie has done 4 seasons of fieldwork, floating between Alaska and Hawaii during the summers. During these seasons, she takes time to learn about the ecosystems and biota of the regions she lives in. Much of her art and inspiration comes from traveling and learning during her seasonal positions.

Sophie plans to pursue a Masters of Science in the coming years.
